Our strength begins well before the seed reaches your field. PSC brings together its own seed farms, a foundation seed program, around 1500 registered contract growers, processing facilities and quality-control arrangements. This organized system connects seed multiplication with field inspection, procurement, processing and certification, helping preserve the identity and quality of the varieties we supply.

Our processing network includes major plants at Sahiwal, Khanewal, Rahim Yar Khan and Piplan, supported by mini plants at Gujranwala and Jhang, with an annual processing capacity of approximately 90,000 metric tonnes. These facilities provide an important foundation for serving farmers across not only in Punjab but other provinces as well and preparing seed for seasonal demand.

Our processing system uses mechanical pre-cleaning, fine cleaning, grading and seed-treatment equipment, alongside specialised facilities for cotton ginning and delinting and maize cob drying. These operations are supported by seed-testing arrangements. For the farmer, the value of this infrastructure lies in the care taken to prepare seed for sowing—not simply to clean and pack grain for sale.

Our certified seed is produced through a supervised multiplication system and undergoes the field inspection, sampling and testing required by the Federal Seed Certification and Registration Department. Certification provides assurance against prescribed standards, including purity and germination, rather than relying on appearance or a seller’s claim alone.

Seed sold without reliable information about its origin, variety or testing does not provide the same documented assurance. We therefore encourage farmers to look beyond the price of a bag: check the variety, certification tag, seed-lot details and suitability for your area and sowing season. With Shahzore certified seed, you are choosing an identifiable source and a recognized quality-assurance process, backed by a public-sector institution you can approach.
