Key Achievements of 2026:

1. First-Ever ERP Launch (2026): In 2026, PSC launched its first-ever Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system since 1976, integrating Processing, Procurement, Marketing, Finance, Inventory and all major wings into one digital platform.

2. Online Sales via Daraz & Website (2026): In 2026, PSC successfully launched online seed sales through its official website and Daraz, making certified quality seeds accessible to farmers at their doorstep.

3. EFAOS Level 3 Achieved (2026): In 2026, PSC achieved Level 3 of Electronic File and Official Correspondence System (EFAOS), ensuring 100% paperless and fast digital correspondence.

4. Highest-Ever Wheat Booking (2026): In 2026, PSC achieved its highest-ever wheat booking in its 50-year history, reflecting record farmer trust and market leadership.

5. Digital & Social Media Presence (2026): In 2026, PSC strengthened its digital and social media presence, featured prominently in Daily Nawa-i-Waqt Lahore for its digital transformation.

6.eBiz System Implementation (2026): Successful adoption of the Punjab Government’s eBiz System / e-Procurement Portal for transparent and digital procurement, tendering, and vendor management – ensuring 100% compliance with Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) rules.

اجلاس میں گندم کی تین نئی اقسام گندم 8، ڈیورم اور رزق کی منظوری دی گئی، جبکہ دھان کی چھ نئی اقسام بھی منظور کی گئیں۔ اس کے علاوہ مختلف فصلوں کی نئی اقسام، جن میں مکئی کی ہائبرڈ قسم PB Pro A-2017، آلو کی قسم ونٹر شائن، گنے کی قسم FDP-254، تیل دار اجناس اور دالوں کی مختلف اقسام شامل ہیں، کی بھی منظوری دی گئی۔اجلاس میں تقریباً 63 مختلف اقسام منظوری کے لیے پیش کی گئیں، جن میں سے 26 اقسام کو پنجاب سیڈ کونسل نے منظور کر لیا۔

چیئرمین پنجاب سیڈ کونسل و صوبائی وزیر زراعت سید عاشق حسین کرمانی نے ہدایت کی کہ آئندہ ہفتے پنجاب سیڈ کونسل کا دوبارہ اجلاس منعقد کیا جائے تاکہ باقی ماندہ فصلوں کی ان اقسام کا بھی جائزہ لے کر منظوری دی جا سکے جو مطلوبہ معیار پر پورا اترتی ہیں۔

سید عاشق حسین کرمانی نے کہا کہ حکومت پنجاب صوبے میں زرعی پیداوار اور شعبہ زراعت کی بہتری کے لیے عملی اقدامات کر رہی ہے۔ انہوں نے کاشتکاروں پر زور دیا کہ وہ صرف تصدیق شدہ اور معیاری بیج استعمال کریں تاکہ فصلوں کی پیداوار میں اضافہ اور ملک میں غذائی تحفظ کو مزید مستحکم بنایا جا سکے۔

اجلاس میں صوبائی سیکرٹری زراعت شکیل احمد میاں، مینجنگ ڈائریکٹر پنجاب سیڈ کارپوریشن ڈاکٹر فرحان فاروق، پنجاب سیڈ کارپوریشن کے بورڈ ممبران اور متعلقہ افسران و عملے نے شرکت کی۔

اجلاس میں مینجنگ ڈائریکٹر پنجاب سیڈ کارپوریشن ڈاکٹر فرحان فاروق کی جانب سے گزشتہ تین سالوں کے دوران گندم کے بیج کی قیمتوں، پیداواری لاگت اور دیگر متعلقہ اعداد و شمار کا تفصیلی جائزہ پیش کیا گیا۔ رواں سال گندم کے بیج کی قیمت کے تعین کے حوالے سے مختلف تجاویز اور مالی امور بھی بورڈ کے سامنے پیش کیے گئے، جن پر بورڈ کے تمام ممبران نے اپنی آراء کا اظہار کیا۔

صوبائی وزیر زراعت پنجاب و چیئرمین پنجاب سیڈ کارپوریشن بورڈ سید عاشق حسین کرمانی نے ہدایت کی کہ گندم کے بیج کی قیمت مقرر کرتے وقت اس امر کو یقینی بنایا جائے کہ کاشتکاروں کو تصدیق شدہ اور معیاری بیج مناسب اور ارزاں نرخوں پر دستیاب ہو، تاکہ ملک بھر کے کاشتکار اس سہولت سے بھرپور استفادہ حاصل کر سکیں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ معیاری بیج کی فراہمی میں پنجاب سیڈ کارپوریشن کا کردار انتہائی اہم ہے۔

صوبائی وزیر زراعت نے مزید کہا کہ وزیر اعلیٰ پنجاب مریم نواز شریف کے وژن کے مطابق پنجاب حکومت کاشتکاروں کی سہولت اور زرعی شعبے کی ترقی کے لیے عملی اقدامات کر رہی ہے۔ پنجاب سیڈ کارپوریشن بھی معیاری بیج کی فراہمی کے ذریعے زرعی پیداوار میں اضافے اور کاشتکاروں کو سہولیات کی فراہمی میں اپنا مؤثر کردار ادا کر رہی ہے۔

As part of this initiative, PSC is introducing an integrated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system that will automate and streamline the operations of different wings and offices of the Corporation. The system will provide a centralized platform for managing organizational processes, improving coordination between departments, and ensuring timely access to accurate and reliable information.

The ERP system will cover key operational and administrative areas, including Finance, Procurement, Production, Farms, Processing, Inventory, Marketing, Human Resources, and Reporting. Through the integration of these functions, routine processes will be gradually automated, reducing dependence on manual procedures and improving overall workflow management.

APSA represents the largest network of seed-related organizations in the Asia-Pacific region. This membership places Punjab Seed Corporation on the international map of leading seed companies and organizations.

Speaking on this achievement, officials Ali Arshad Rana and Mahboob Alam emphasized that Punjab Seed Corporation will fully utilize this platform to provide farmers in Punjab with high-quality seeds. They further stated that PSC will actively participate in APSA’s initiatives for seed industry development, knowledge sharing, and adoption of modern seed technologies.

This national recognition highlights PSC’s continuous efforts in production, procurement, processing, and distribution of certified seeds on scientific lines, maintaining international standards and earning the complete trust of farmers all over Pakistan.
